A SMASH hit Tony Award-winning Broadway and West End musical comedy is heading to Malvern as part of a major UK tour.
Avenue Q will be bringing a host of fuzzy friends to Malvern Theatres from Monday (October 12) to Saturday (October 17), as the naughtiest puppets in town are brought hilariously to life by a cast of 11 performers.
The musical centres on Princeton, a bright-eyed graduate who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account and discovers the only neighbourhood in his price range is Avenue Q.
He finds himself moving in with some truly quirky characters including Brian, the out-of-work comedian, his therapist fiancée Christmas Eve, Nicky the good-hearted slacker, his closet gay Republican roommate Rod and cute kindergarten teacher, Kate Monster.
Avenue Q has entertained thousands in more than ten countries worldwide, with a cast featuring acclaimed performers Sarah Harlington, Richard Lowe, Stephen Arden, Richard Morse and Jessica Parker.
The show runs from 7.30pm weekdays and 2.30pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
Tickets range from £15.12 to £36.40 for adults and £21.84 for students.
