Malvern Cube's Comedy Club to return this week

Malvern Editorial 11th May, 2016 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THE FINAL comedy club of the spring season is coming to Malvern Cube this week.

Top comedy fun featuring a mixed bill of some of the finest, funniest and comedians will be coming to the Albert North Road centre this Friday with the laughter starting at 8pm.

For the third Cube Comedy Club, Sally-Anne Hayward, George Rigden, Bob Wildlife, Tim Goodings and winner of ITV’s Show Me the Funny Patrick Monahan will be on hand to provide an evening of laughter.

Sally-Anne is a popular comedian with a winning brand of autobiographical humour.

She will take attendees on a journey through her slightly eccentric world, including insights into the female psyche and her compulsion to send off spoof job applications.

George is a musical comic who, despite having only been gigging since 2013, has already racked up in excess of 200 gigs and enjoyed success in a variety of competitions.

In the last year alone, he has gigged with the likes of Russell Howard, Stephen Merchant and Jason Manford.

Patrick, a half-Iranian and half-Middlesbrough comic is a rising star on the comedy circuit.

Full of an insatiable lust for life, his exuberant comedy will be thoroughly enjoyed by all who attend.

Malvern Cube co-ordinator Sophie Austwick said: “We’re really excited to be part of bringing a comedy scene to Malvern, the music scene is thriving and we would love to see the same of comedy.”

Tickets cost £10 advanced or £12 on the door and are available from www.malverncube.com.
