A YOUTH group will be bringing Shakespeare to Welland with their performances of The Taming Of The Shrew.
Having taken on Macbeth last year, Perfect Circle Youth Theatre will now be taking to the stage with another of the playwright’s classics at St James Church.
With performances at 7pm on Friday and Saturday (December 6 and 7), they will tell the story of Baptista who has decided daughter Bianca cannot marry one of her many suitors until Katharina is married.
The group has taken the play and created a version which is fast moving and fun, suitable for audiences aged eight and over.
Tickets are available on the door costing £5 (£3 for under 18s) but visitors should e-mail [email protected] if they are intending to bring a group as seating is limited.
