BRITAIN’S No. 1 rock blues band King King are kicking off Spring tour at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall next Saturday, April 14.

King King released their fourth studio album ‘Exile & Grace’ late last year and the band’s singles (She Don’t) Gimme No Lovin’ and Long Time Running which have been big hits on Planet Rock radio.

The new album followed King King’s across-the-board win of five awards at 2016’s British Blues Awards including Best Male Vocal (Alan Nimmo), Best Bass Player (Lindsay Coulson), Best Song (Rush Hour), Best Album (Reaching for the Light) and Best Songwriter.

Right now, they’re a band breaking into a swagger.

Hailed as “the best blues-rock band in the world” (Blues Rock Review) these sons of Glasgow are on a mission to spread the word about just how good their music is.

“We’re not stopping to smell the roses,” said Alan.

“We want to take this band as far as we can – and it definitely feels like things are still moving forward.”

Support comes from Xander and the Peace Pirates and it’s curtain up at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the Worcester gig are £20 on 01905 611427 or book online at http://www.worcesterlive.co.uk/
