A MAN sustained a head injury and required hospital treatment after an attack in Malvern last night (Thursday).
The incident happened around 9.20pm on Elgar Avenue and Martin Close.
The man in his 50s, who was injured and taken hospital, is in a stable condition and is conscious.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Det Insp Ben Pearson said: “We believe we have identified one of the suspects, involved in this assault, and that he is known to the victim.
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries to locate the other suspects, and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have doorbell or dash cam footage to support our investigation.
“Our communities can expect to see an increased police presence in the area.”
