More than £6,000 stolen in Malvern raid

A SNEAK thief ran off with more than £6,000 after raiding a sheltered housing complex in Malvern.

The theft took place between 12.30pm and 3pm on Thursday (May 15) at a flat in Geraldine Court in Geraldine Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information which could help track down the thief.

Det Cons Thomas Birchley said: “We are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the Geraldine Road area last Thursday and particularly anyone carrying a bag.

“We also want to hear from anyone who knows of a person with an unusually large amount of extra cash.”
