A PUBLIC consultation for one of the biggest developments Malvern will have ever seen is set to take place today (Wednesday).
Plans to build 800 homes at Newland have been earmarked as part of the South Worcestershire Development Plan and developers Gleeson Strategic Land and Welbeck Strategic Land are holding the consultation before an official application is submitted to Malvern Hills District Council.
Employment land, community services, playing fields and a cemetery all look set to be included in proposals for the £100m site.
Further information will be on display at the exhibition, which will be held at St Leonard’s Chapel in Newland between 4pm and 8pm.
