A MALVERN hairdresser will get the chance to experience the famous Vidal Sassoon London Mayfair salon at the end of this month after being selected for a scholarship.
Katherine Gittings, who has worked at Number One Bespoke Hair and Beauty in town for five years, secured the scholarship after impressing during her interview with Shirley Davis-Fox, chairman of Bridgend-based learning provider ISA Training.
The 21-year-old’s scholarship also covered the cost of her five-day ABC Cutting course at the London-based salon.
Julie Hawkins, owner of Number One Bespoke Hair and Beauty, said: “I am over the moon that Kat has been awarded the chance to attend the Vidal salon course.
“She consistently puts 100 per cent in to her work and has been a fantastic apprentice with a great hairdressing career ahead of her.”
