THE GROUNDS of a Malvern church will be awash with food, live music and history as the Great Malvern Food Festival returns to the town.
Residents will be treated to the event, which takes place in and around Great Malvern Priory Church, on Bank Holiday Monday (May 25) from 10am to 5.30pm.
Everything from home-made fudge, local sausages, strawberries, cider and Caribbean food are all set to be on offer along with live entertainment throughout the day.
There will also be a First World War food demonstration where people can find out about cooking simple food using basic seasonal ingredients.
Malcolm Salisbury, economic development officer at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “The event will be even better than last year and we know people coming will have a fantastic time tasting and buying food from Upton-upon-Severn to Egypt.
“With the live entertainment and the stunning scenery to take in, we really hope residents and visitors will come to Malvern and really make a day of it at our food festival.”
