MALVERN College is celebrating another superb year of results with the announcement of notable A-Level examination successes.
Following this year’s outstanding International Baccalaureate (IB) results, where nearly a third of the cohort achieved the magical 40 points or more and two achieved the full 45 points, this year’s A-Level candidates have achieved similarly impressive results.
Among these are pupils Jake Preston, who achieved one A* and three As and leaves Malvern to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath, and Miranda Bruce who achieved two A*s, one A and an A in the EPQ and will go on to study Law at the University of Exeter.
Headmaster Antony Clark said: “We are very pleased with the strong results of our pupils which demonstrates the commitment of the candidates and their teachers to successful outcomes.
“I am delighted by the fact that a great number of our pupils achieved results which surpassed their and our expectations, demonstrating a significant value-added component.
“This is a critical factor in an education.
“Our pupils will mostly be going on to top Russell Group universities and I predict a very bright future for them.”
