THE MALVERN Male Voice Choir will be hosting an inspirational commemoration of Armistice Day in town next month.
The annual event takes place at The Church of Ascension on Somers Park Avenue from 7pm on Sunday, November 11.
Entitled ‘Through the Dark Clouds Shining’, the event features a variety of music and readings to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.
Joined by the Holy Trinity Senior Choir and led by Lay Minister Eileen Tomlin, the occasion includes an act of remembrance.
There will be a retiring collection for the Royal British Legion, The Malvern Link with Cowleigh Parish and Malvern Male Voice Choir.
Charles Pavey, conductor of the Malvern Male Voice Choir, said: “This is an annual event for Malvern Male Voice Choir and is certainly one of the highlights of its year.
“All are welcome at what I hope will prove to be as moving an event as in previous years and all the more special in this centenary year.”
