ABBEY Road in Malvern was closed for up to two hours earlier today (Thursday) following a house fire.
The road was closed by police from around 3.15pm.
Nobody has been injured but serious damage was caused to the roof of the building.
Four fire engines from Malvern Fire Station attended the scene.
Liam Hall, watch commander at Malvern Fire Station told the Observer an investigation is underway to examine the cause of the fire.
The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
Abbey Road re-opened at 5.15pm.
