MALVERN Theatre Players have come top of the pile once more as they scooped yet another prestigious award.
The group secured the Best Play, Midlands region area 10, for its rendition of Ladies in Retirement and were handed the prize by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).
The play was presented in October last year at Malvern’s Coach House Theatre.
It is the third time MTP has won the regional Best Play award, with the others coming in 2009 and 2012.
