MALVERN Town have made a key off the field appointment to further strengthen their commitment to the community.
Popular player Bryan Craven will take up the role of Community Development Officer, with a brief to promote healthy and active lifestyles and a sense of local pride amongst all members of the community.
Having been a youth worker in Pickersleigh prior to working in education and early help, the 36-year-old is well placed to make a success of this new role.
“I have worked with a lot of different groups of people, young and old, over the years and it will be good to engage with some of them again to see what they want and need going forward,” he said.
