ALL was said to be in order during police patrols in Rushwick yesterday evening (Tuesday, April 8) as local officers were out and about.
PCSO Smith and PC Stanley have been out on patrol and are pleased to report everything was as it should be.
Both foot and mobile patrols of Rushwick continue as part of the West Mercia Police’s commitment to be visible in the community.
The patrols come ahead of a walkabout with police and a local housing association to discuss concerns with residents on a neighbourhood walk.
West Mercia Police’s Kempsey & Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will join Platform Housing at Baskerville Drive, Rushwick between 11.30am and 12.30 pm on Thursday (April 10).
Residents are encouraged to join them on the walk to have a say on area improvements. The walkabouts give residents a chance to meet neighbourhood police officers, councillors and other community partners to highlight issues and concerns locally.
On the walkabouts, issues usually centre around the maintenance of properties, open spaces and communal areas, neighbourhood safety, engagement with landlords and community partners on local matters, and nearby projects and activities.
