CONSTITUENTS in Malvern can have their say and influence council decisions by taking part in the upcoming residents’ survey launching in September.
The annual survey will return on September 1, 2024 and will ask questions on a variety of different topics, including what people think of their local area and the services the council provides.
For the third year, residents who complete the survey will be able to enter a prize draw with £75 vouchers up for grabs to use at a local, independent restaurant or retailer in the area of their choice within the Malvern Hills District.
The council is encouraging residents to sign up to the email alert service to receive the survey straight to their inbox.
The feedback from the survey will be considered and used to improve services. This year residents are being asked to share their priorities for the district which will feed into development of the council’s revised strategic Five Year Plan for 2024/25.
When these questions were asked in 2023, residents said their top priority was community transport. As a result, this was built into plan and action is now being taken to deliver it.
Councillor Tom Wells, leader of Malvern Hills District Council, said: “It’s that time again where we are encouraging residents to have their say and to tell us what they think of where they live and the services we provide.
“The responses will help us to identify any improvements or changes needed, and gives residents the opportunity to feed into shaping our strategic plan for the coming financial year”.
The deadline for responses is September 29, 2024.
