Apology after pipe burst

Malvern Editorial 22nd Oct, 2013 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

SEVERN Trent has apologised to Malvern residents who were affected after a mains water supply burst in the town centre.

The incident happened on Sunday (October 20) at Abbey Road next to the town’s museum and left several homes in the area without water. Eight calls were made to Severn Trent to report the issue before the situation was resolved later in the day.

A spokesman said: “We would like to apologise to those who may have been without water during this time. We worked quickly to repair the damaged pipe to make sure that our customers’ water supply was restored as soon as possible.”
