Malvern Editorial 25th Jun, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

A DOG had to be treated for injuries after it was attacked by a stray Staffordshire bull terrier in Malvern.

A woman was walking her Irish terrier in the fields close to Belmont Road at 7.30pm on Saturday (June 20) when the bull terrier sunk its teeth into the other dog’s back.

Police said the Staffordshire bull terrier had no collar or lead and did not appear to be with an owner.

Officers have appealed for witnesses of the incident to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
