AN AWARD-WINNING author paid a visit to a Malvern school to teach students the art of creative writing.
Bali Rai provided the workshop for Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils at The Chase School where he talked about his own experiences of writing.
Toby Pomerory, of class 11PMH, said: “Bali was really positive about everyone’s ideas.
“He has made me feel excited about the creative writing section of my English GSCE because he has shown me that I can do it.”
Dakota Mills, of 9JPC, said: “I really enjoyed having a discussion with Mr Rai and he helped me with my beginning of a thriller story.”
Jacob Walker, of 11JSV, added the experience was ‘really enjoyable’ and ‘great fun’.
