Babajack up for three Blues awards

MALVERN band Babajack have received a trio of nominations in this year’s British Blues Awards.

The quartet of Becky Tate, Trevor Steger, Tosh Murase and Adam Bertenshaw are up for Best Acoustic Act while Becky is on the shortlist for instrumentalist of the year and Trevor has been put forward for the harmonica player of the year.

The group have urged fans to visit www.britishbluesawards.co.uk to vote for them as well as see them play at upcoming tour dates this month in Croydon (May 17), Lincoln (May 18), Leicester (May 28) and at the Bamfest (May 31).

The group said: “Please vote and spread the word. It would be incredible to win three years running and we can’t do it without you.
