CHILDREN of Malvern will soon be able to ride a bicycle when the popular Balanceability course returns to town.
The programme takes place on Thursday, March 16 at The Hill Centre, Upton-upon-Severn, with two sessions available at 4.15pm and 5pm.
Balanceability is the UK’s first and only accredited learn to cycle programme which involves a schedule of fun activities which build confidence, spatial awareness and balance skills as well as enabling young children to cycle without ever needing stabilisers.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and cost £5 per child, per session.
The course is aimed at children four years and over and bikes will be provided.
Rachel Vann, physical activity and well-being officer from Malvern Hills District Council, said: “Our courses are a great opportunity for children to develop the skills and confidence needed to learn to ride a bike in a friendly, safe environment, but most importantly, children have good fun in the process.”
