THE FINAL Bands in the Park Concert of the year was music to residents’ ears as it helped raise more than £200 for charity.
Malvern Hills District Brass Band returned to the bandstand of Priory Park to close the programme on Sunday (September 13).
A total of £230 was raked in for Childline, the Mayor of Malvern’s, Coun Julian I’Anson, chosen charity.
The last concert of the year, organised by Malvern Town Council, also enabled residents to celebrate the creativity of town businesses with winners of the recent ‘My Secret Garden’ window competition presented with prizes.
Malvern Hills Gallery, Just So, and St Richard’s Hospice shop were the successful competitors.
