BUDDY Holly fans in Malvern are in for a treat when West Midlands based singer, songwriter Sunjay comes to town.
The 30-year-old performer will bring the 65th anniversary (Winter Dance Party) concert to St James Church, Welland at 7.45pm on Friday, February 9.
Sunjay has a rich history with Buddy Holly, having played the rock and roll legend in a touring theatre show in 2017. Buddy Holly’s song Peggy Sue was in fact the first song Sunjay learned to sing and play.
The Sunjay Sings Buddy tour is based on the artists recorded album by the same name. Sunjay will perform his album of Buddy Holly classics live alongside his band.
Expect musical numbers such as That’ll Be the Day, Not Fade Away, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, Rock Around with Ollie Vee, Rave On, Oh Boy, Well All Right, and Crying, Waiting, Hoping!.c
