THOUSANDS of show goers descended on Malvern last weekend for the Royal Three Counties Show.
Some 96,000 visitors flocked to the Three Counties Showground over the three-day outdoor extravaganza which is the UK’s largest livestock and equine event.
The Main Arena was the heart of the action with the Bolddog Lings Motocross team and the Red Devils Parachute Team wowing the crowds with their spectacular displays as well as the Grand Parade of Livestock.
As well as that there were the traditional animal shows and food and drink tents.
There were also new attractions as part of this year’s line up. The brand new Wellington Boot Theatre showcased stars from the world of sport and outdoor pursuits.
Visitors also got the chance to ask the farmers anything that they’ve always wanted to know at the new Ask the Farmer Theatre.
Head of Shows for Three Counties, Diana Walton, said: “I am immensely thankful to everyone that was involved in putting together this year’s show.”
“We couldn’t be happier with how it went and the show’s success is testament to the dedication and passion of the team at the Three Counties that pull out all the stops to ensure that our visitors enjoy themselves.
“We’re all itching to start planning for 2018 now, after a little sit down with a cold drink.
“These are testing times for all but over the last three days, we’ve seen a palpable sense of community. We’ve experienced the joy, passion and enthusiasm for all aspects of rural life from show goers and exhibitors alike and we hope that we’ve inspired and entertained all that attended.”
