BUSINESSES across Malvern district are being encouraged to sign up to a discount book in a bid to attract more customers.
The deadline for applications has been extended until January 30.
For £5, businesses will be able to advertise a voucher or discount of their choice.
The booklets will then go on sale to customers online and in stores from February for just £1.
Adverts will feature in 5,000 booklets, all containing vouchers and discounts, which will be available to customers for six months.
Aiming to generate footfall and new sales, the scheme forms part of Malvern Hills District Council’s commitment to supporting local businesses and communities.
Coun Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We’ve had a good take up to date but there is still space for more businesses to get involved, it’s a great opportunity to advertise any discounts at a low cost. “
