Cash machine stolen in ram-raid at M&S

A CASH machine has been stolen from the town’s Marks and Spencer store after a wall was smashed by a digger.

The incident happened between 1.50am and 2am Tuesday (November 4) at Malvern Retail Park on Roman Way.

The Manitou fork lift vehicle used in the suspected ram-raid was stolen from the Madresfield area some time between 12 midday Monday (November 3) and the time of the ATM theft but was left at the scene.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents and police have appealed for witnesses or anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area to contact them immediately.

It is yet to be confirmed how much money was in the cash machine.
