UPDATE: Man comes forward after CCTV appeal into assault on Grange Road, Malvern

A MAN has contacted the police after a CCTV appeal into a reported assault which happened in Malvern earlier this year.

The incident happened at a property on Grange Road on Saturday, September 2 in the early hours of the morning.

A woman in her 30s was allegedly knocked over and suffered cuts and bruises to her face and pain to her neck and back.

West Mercia Police confirmed a man has come forward following the CCTV appeal but stressed enquiries are still ongoing

A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to thank everyone who helped by sharing our appeal.”

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 and quote reference number 376s of September 2 or ask for the officer in charge of the investigation, PC 20414 Waldron.
