A RALLYING call has been issued to supporters and former players of Malvern Town FC to come forward with their memories, memorabilia and photographs of the club for a special history project.
A celebratory clubhouse display is being planned as part of the scheme which is led by avid Town fans Paul Stanley and Lars Neale and is backed by club chairman Chris Pinder.
A Malvern Town History Group has been established to help get the project off the ground
As Malvern Town continues to make great strides after promotion to the Southern League, they now want to look back to the past and celebrate the journey which has got them to where they are now.
The club wants to gather together memories and memorabilia to create a series of display boards as the club prepares to mark the last eight decades of their history. A Facebook group has also been set up to create a space where people can share their memories, thoughts and photos of the club to help form part of this display.
Mr Pinder, said: “We’re thrilled to embark on a journey celebrating Malvern Town’s vibrant history.
“We invite everyone in our wonderful community to share their stories and memories of our beloved football club.
“Whether you’ve played for the team, volunteered behind the scenes, cheered from the stands, or have family ties to the club, we’d love to hear your unique perspective.
“Every connection, every piece of memorabilia, every anecdote adds to the rich tapestry of Malvern Town’s legacy.
“Let’s capture the spirit of this extraordinary club and record it forever.”
