FOR THE tenth consecutive year The Chase School in Malvern run a Spanish exchange.
Pupils from Years 9, 10 and 12 took part in the experience of being paired up with similar age pupils from a high school in Fuensalida, Tolida – the capital of shoemaking factories in Spain.
Students took long walk through the forests and enjoyed an adventure in a zip-wire park.
They also visited the ancient towns of Toledo and Torrijos as well as the international city of Madrid and discovered its art museums.
The pupils also tried different kinds of food including tapas, torrijas, paella and churros.
A spokesperson for The Chase School said: “Many of our students made close friendships and improved their Spanish fluency by talking to authentic Spaniards of their age and host families.
“The Spanish school is coming to Malvern at the beginning of May and we are looking forward to seeing them again and teaching them about English culture and food.”
