A MALVERN food teacher was invited as a guest speaker for a conference at the University of East London.
Bev Saunder, of The Chase School, took part in the ‘Food That Works’ forum after being asked to give a talk by The Food Teacher Centre.
Bev has co-authored the text book to support a new vocational food course – the AQA Technical Award – and was asked to present how to successfully teach it within the classroom.
She said: “It was an extremely prestigious occasion.
“I was honoured to be invited and delighted to share my experiences of how I teach food in my classroom.”
