A MALVERN pub has been brought back from the brink after the community rallied together to buy it, writes Zara Parkes.
The Brewers’ Arms is now open again for locals and tourists.
The saving of the hostelry has been welcomed by MP Harriett Baldwin who visited the venue to chat to the management team and discuss any challenges they are facing since buying the site from Admiral Taverns.
Now the successful funding bid has been completed, the new owners are looking for permanent tenant landlords to take over the day-to-day running.
Ms Baldwin said “This is a wonderful news story, where a community has gathered together to save their local pub and take it on as a going concern.
“The pub has had an impressive facelift and it’s a cosy place to pop in for a pint during colder months.
“It will be a glorious place for local walkers and tourists to enjoy some stunning views of West Malvern in the summer.”
The MP has also offered the management team her ongoing support and is encouraging people to visit the Brewers’ Arms.
