THE FAMOUS choir and baroque orchestra Armonico Consort will be playing Bach’s Christmas Oratorio Malvern Theatre on November 30.
Bach’s Christmas Oratorio is a collection of six cantatas (from which Armonico Consort will play Parts 1,3,5 & 6), each telling a different part of the Christmas story, from the birth of Jesus to the arrival of the Wise Men.
Christopher Monks, Founder and Artistic Director of Armonico Consort, said the Christmas Oratorio is “Bach at his finest, most exuberant and most excitable, full of exquisite and beautiful melodies.”
