CIDER fans will be able to enjoy a tipple produced in Much Marcle in their own homes.
The Gold Label – known by residents as GL – from Westons Cider is now available from convenience stores in a two litre PET bottle after it was relaunched in the area’s pubs a year ago.
Head of marketing Ian Lewis said: “We have had great pleasure in restoring this iconic cider to its former greatness.
“GL has been an important part of the regional drinking culture in the three counties and has received a warm return over the last year. Taking GL into the convenience sector will allow aficionados of the product to enjoy it from the comfort of their own homes.”
