A GROUP are set to climb Britain’s highest mountain to raise money for two good causes personal to them.

The five friends fly up to Glasgow on Saturday, June 28 before travelling to Fort William the next day to tackle Ben Nevis’ 4,409 foot summit.

Taking on the challenge will be Lisa and Andy Morgan from Mathon, Rich Thick from Cradley, Paul Kenney from Ledbury and Craig Kinsey from Malvern who are all hoping to raise money for Cradley Sports Club out of enthusiasm to see youngsters in the village participate in sports in the community.

But they have also vowed to split the donations with the Midlands Air Ambulance which has supported some of their friendly members on different occasions.

The group are self-funding the trip and have already seen nearly £1,000 pledged to support their causes but have set a target to double that amount.

Anyone wishing to donate can by visiting www.justgiving.com/teams/cscdoesnevis or by texting CLUB05 £1 to 70070.
