Coffee morning to raise money for Mayoral charity Malvern Special Families

A MALVERN care home is hosting a Good Friday Easter Coffee morning to raise money for Malvern Special Families.

There will be delicious refreshments and lots of Easter raffle prizes to win throughout the morning and everyone is welcome.

Senior General Manager, Sarah Cadwallader said: “We always look forward to Easter and the activities we hold for everyone in our community to enjoy. It’s such a lovely time of year and everyone has such fun at our Easter events.”

Elgar Court and Councillor Marilyn Birks, Mayor of Malvern, who is the special guest, have nominated Malvern Special Families as their chosen charity for 2026.

All donations from the delicious refreshments and raffle prize money will be given directly to Malvern Special Families on the day.

Gareth Jones CEO of Malvern Special Families said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Elgar Court are raising much needed funds for us at their Easter Coffee morning and cannot wait to taste the hot cross buns and Easter cakes.

“Our charity supports children and young people aged five to 17 who all have learning disabilities and additional complex needs.

“We provide social and play clubs for weekends, school holidays and youth clubs, so that the children can play, learn and have fun at the same time.”

The coffee morning takes place on April 3, starting at 10am until 12.30pm.
