LEDBURY’S annual community day saw the town come alive with activities, fun and laughter.
Local groups ran stalls in and around the High Street to showcase what they could do and, along with entertainers, put on an fascinating day for residents.
Ledbury Choral Society wowed all who attended with its show, as did the Silurian Morris Dancers.
Organisations ranged from the local rugby club, the Ornithological Society and the Naturalists Club to Ledbury Food Group, charities, the police and fire service.
The Ledbury Library Development Group did a brisk trade in book sales and there was also a rush to sign up for its Murder Mystery Night on Friday (June 19).
Jan Long, volunteer and rotarian, said: “This was a hugely successful event which brought together numerous clubs and societies and hundreds of visitors.
“One of the organising team, Griff Holliday, said the event has grown in stature each year and he was delighted with the turnout.”
