CONCERNS grow for missing man who was thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area last week.

Matthew Bone, who is originally from Portsmouth, is known to have travelled up to the Midlands recently.

He enjoys walking and was thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area on Thursday (March 8) before spending time in Callow End on Friday morning (March 9).

He has not been seen or heard from since and officers believe he may be sleeping rough.

The 26-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with brown hair and bluey/grey coloured eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Matthew’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Officers are urging people to check any outbuildings or sheds in their gardens as they try to locate Matthew.

Anyone who sees Matthew or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 410S of 11 March or the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
