CONCERNS are growing for missing man Stephen Woolley who still could be in the Malvern area, worried police officers and his family have said.
The 55-year-old has not been seen since he went to bed at his Kidderminster home on Tuesday, December 6 and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Stephen’s car, a silver Vauxhall Zafira, was located in Holt Fleet, near Worcester on Friday (December 9), but there have been no confirming sightings of him.
A keen walker, Stephen was often known for making trips to the Malvern Hills and other surrounding areas.
He is described as white, around 5′ 6″, with short dark hair and a short grey beard.
He usually wears dark rimmed glasses, and is believed to be wearing a black coat, a fabric fur lined bomber jacket, black jeans, a navy blue or black fleece and a grey hat.
Stephen’s wife Carol Wooley last week released an emotional plea for him to come home.
She said: “We miss Stephen so terribly, and can’t describe how worried we are. Our boys Matthew and Daniel have been out searching day and night.
“He could be anywhere.
“We would urge everyone to check their streets and ask anyone who has seen it to get in touch the with the police. He has no money, no phone and always carries a water bottle, which he is missing.
“Stephen please come home, the whole family is missing you.”
PC Donnamarie Bruton, who is part of the investigation, said: “Searches remain ongoing to locate Stephen and we are continuing to ask the public to please keep an eye out for him.
“As Stephen’s car has been located in Holt Fleet, we would also appeal to anyone who may have seen him within this area over the past week to please let us know.”
Anyone with information about Stephen’s whereabouts is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101.
