COUNCIL chiefs have encouraged Malvern residents to look after their hearts, bodies and minds whilst at home with the weekly #WeBeatCorona challenge.
Rachel Nicholls, physical activity and well-being officer at Malvern Hills District Council, has developed a 12-week challenge which includes activities people can to help them become more active as well during the Coronavirus lockdown.
Based on each letter of the hashtag #WeBeatCorona, the five minute videos focus on three different areas: the heart, body and mind. They will include different exercises, mindfulness advice, positive things people can do to stay connected with others and more.
“It is natural to feel worried or anxious at the moment and this weekly challenge is designed to support people through this difficult time,” she said.
The videos are being shared on the council’s YouTube channel and social media pages every Monday.
