A NEW county brewer is getting access to the freshest ingredients as it builds a brewery right next to the famous hop fields.

Unity Brew House, in Suckley, has started a brewery in the heart of the hop fields at one of the UK’s leargest hop providers, Stocks Farm.

And West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin met with the brewery founders Hani and Sarah Saleh who relocated from London to Alfrick to set up the company.

The business started off home-based and they are now converting old farm buildings to expand their production and allow for barrel and bottled beer production.

Mrs Baldwin said: “Stocks Farm hops are sold to make world-class beers all over the world so it seems logical that someone would want to create a properly local brew.

“I met Hani and Sarah during my tour of the farm and was keen to wish them good luck with their new venture.

“Worcestershire is famous for its hops and it would be such a boost to be famous in its own right for locally-brewed beers.”
