A PAIR of dads whose children attend New College Worcester (NCW) will be taking to the skies to raise cash for the school.
Max Keam and Adam Baker have sons who started at NCW in September and who are really benefiting from the specialist teaching and care at the school for children who are blind or vision impaired.
They will be joined on the skydive on June 13 by Principal of NCW Nic Ross who is inspired by the students at NCW, one of whom will also join the skydive.
Max said: “The past year has had a massive impact on the school’s ability to carry out its fund-raising activities, so I have volunteered to take part to raise some extra funds for the school which means so much not to just my family but to all the families whose children attend.”
Adam said: “At the age of three my son was diagnosed with a brain tumour which has left him severely vision impaired.
“With NCW having had their fund-raising efforts hampered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have decided to do my bit to help out and throw myself out of a plane.”
