BUSINESSES from across the district are being urged to visit the first annual Visit the Malverns Tourism Forum of the year, writes Ryan Smith.
The event will take place at the Three Counties Showground on February 28 and will feature key information including an update on the Visit the Malverns Visitor Economy Action Plan.
Those in attendance will also be able to gain top social media tips from Esther Partridge-Warner as well as take part in a discussion on how to encourage youngsters to get involved in the industry.
The event is run by Malvern Hills District Council and its new Visitor Economy Officer Victoria Carman will be there to meet business representatives throughout the day.
The free gathering will start at 2pm and finish at 5pm following a question and answer session.
Tourism businesses can take along leaflets to promote their services to visitors.
Coun David Chambers, Malvern Hills District Council leader, said:
“Events like this enable local, like-minded people to network and create a dialogue on how to offer the best service for our thriving district.”
