Drop in to find out about fostering

Malvern Editorial 9th Apr, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016

MALVERN residents interested in becoming foster carers have been invited to a free drop-in session.

The event will be held at Malvern Library on Saturday (April 11) from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Worcestershire Fostering Service staff and foster carers will be out and about in the community and will be talking to people and giving information out on fostering.

Foster carer Shirley Nunn said: “I have spent many happy hours with children and young people in my role as a foster carer.

“However, we need more local foster carers now for our local children and young people so they feel safe and secure.

“I would actively encourage you to come forward to become a foster carer if you are interested – it is a worthwhile role.”
