VISITORS to a National Trust site near Malvern can enjoy some leisurely shopping without the crowds this Christmas.

Croome’s Christmas market and shop is the perfect place to pick up a Christmas gift.

“We looking forward to welcoming back our stall holders to our Christmas market again this year,” said Croome’s programming officer Becky Wilks.

“There will be lots of unique gifts for visitors to choose from.”

Visitors will be able to browse more than 20 stalls selling drinks, cheeses, crafts, jewellery and more on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 between 10am and 4pm.

The on-site shop is also offers many gifts for the whole family this Christmas and is open every day between 10am and 4pm.

“We have some lovely new ranges this Christmas,” added Croome’s retail manager Tina King.

“The inspiration for our new ‘Bohemian Circles’ range is drawn from the bohemian lifestyle of a small group called the Bloomsbury set, in the early decades of the twentieth century.

“From floral to abstract the exclusive designs offer a beautiful palette of rich colours across our many ranges from ladies scarves and bags to cushions and homeware there is something to appeal to everyone.

“Collaborating with artist Dee Hardwicke the Trust has also introduced a nature-inspired range of ceramic and textiles featuring a robin, hare, owl and squirrel.

“As the nights draw in our Winter Twilight range captures the silhouetted woodland and the rolling mists of some of the wild landscapes in our care.”

Both events have free on-site parking and free entry.

Every penny spent at Croome such as entrance fees, buying a cup of tea or a gift in the shop helps generate an income which goes towards the restoration of the property.
