IT EQUIPMENT and speakers were stolen when theives raided Malvern Cube community centre.
The theft took place between 9.30pm on Tuesday, February 2 and 9am on Wednesday (February 3) at the building on Albert North Road.
Theives got in through a fire door and left sweet and crisp packets on the floor as well taking expensive equipment.
‘Jemmy’ marks were found around the frame of the door.
Jon White, Malvern Cube centre manager, said: “It’s hurtful and dissapointing to know there are people out there who would steal from a community centre.
“We are working hard to provide a nice environment for the community and when this happens it is very frustrating.”
Police are also investigating a seperate theft at Malvern Splash Leisure Centre where an amount of cash was taken from an unsecure locker.
The incident happened at the Priory Road building between 10.45am and 11.55am on Saturday (February 6).
