A TREASURE trove of historical items from Worcestershire’s storied past will be unveiled for this year’s Explore Your Archive campaign.
Worcestershire County Council’s Archive and Archaeology Service will provide a glimpse into Worcestershire’s vibrant past.
The campaign runs from 25 November to 3 December 2023, in partnership with the Archives and Records Association.
During launch week, selected archives chosen by archive staff will be showcased in exhibition cases on Level 2 at The Hive, Worcester.
These carefully curated displays will highlight significant events, influential figures, and iconic landmarks that have shaped the county’s character.
Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Explore Your Archive Week is a fantastic opportunity for our community to delve into the county’s past and uncover the stories that have shaped our present.
