Families to go on fantastic journeys

Malvern Editorial 18th Oct, 2013 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016

CHILDREN are set to learn the art of storytelling thanks to a library event focused on fantastic journeys.

The interactive project at Malvern Library on Monday (October 28) forms part of the Campaign for Learning festival, aiming to promote the importance of family learning.

Suitable for children over the age of four, the event from 2pm to 4pm uses the Storybird.com website.

Vanessa Priest, family learning manager for libraries and learning at

Worcestershire County Council, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for families to work together to encourage children to be creative.

“The beauty is that the stories can be anything the learners want, from an exciting adventure story to a trip down memory lane.”
