TRIBUTES have been paid by the family of a 17-year-old boy from Malvern who was killed in a serious collision in Walsall last week.
Liam Ball died after the Volkswagen Golf he was a passenger in had hit parked cars in Weston Street, Palfrey, in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
A statement from Liam’s family said: “This little man left us too soon and will leave a big hole in our family and hearts – god bless you Liam.”
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a license and no insurance as well as failing to stop at the scene.
He was released into the care of social services and was due to re-appear at Dudley Youth Court tomorrow (Wednesday).
Two female passengers aged 14 were also injured in the collision – one suffered a broken arm and the other minor injuries.
