THE FAMILY of a woman who died in a collision near Cotheridge over the weekend have paid a loving tribute.

Emma Aldridge, 40-years-old and from Birmingham, was riding along the A44 Bromyard Road on Sunday at about 1.40pm when the black Suzuki motorbike she was travelling on was involved in collision with a blue Citroen C4.

She was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance following the crash where she was later pronounced deceased.

Speaking about Emma, her sister Rachel said: “She was the heart and soul of the family; kind, caring, fun and so loving.

“Her two boys – aged 12 and 15 – meant the world to her and Emma adored them and always put them first.

“She was also dearly loved by her niece and nephew, her two sisters and all of the family.

“Emma was loved by so many and was full of energy.”

Rachel added that Emma hated being indoors and loved going for walks along the Malvern Hills as well as spending time outside and listening to music.

A minute’s silence was held at Emma’s work place which opened a condolence book in her memory.

“She was genuinely the most caring person, who would give her last penny to help anyone,” said Rachel.

“We would like to thank everyone for the love and support they have shown.

“We would also like to thank the officers who have supported us from West Mercia Police; their sympathy and compassion at this difficult time reminds us of the compassion and understanding that Emma showed every day.

“Emma was the most amazing person and the most amazing daughter, mum and sister that you could wish for.

“We are beyond devastated at our loss and request that we are allowed to grieve privately at this difficult time.”

Dean Turvey, 41-years-old and also from Birmingham, was riding the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

He is survived by his three children and his family have asked that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
