LEDBURY wordsmiths gathered en masse to enjoy a day of songs, drinks and laughter at a poetry and food festival.
The joint event between the 2015 Ledbury Poetry Festival and the Ledbury Food Group gave visitors a chance to see a showcase of the best the village has to offer.
There were decorated stalls selling food and drinks, coloured bunting, mouthwatering smells of cooking all served to create a day visitors old and new would never forget.
Organisers are already discussing plans for a similar event next year.
Jan Long, member of the Rotary Club of Ledbury, said: “I had the opportunity to be in the food area as well as entertainment area both of which had huge numbers of people all dancing and singing and having wonderful time.
“We hope next year the festival will be even bigger and better.”
